Hobbies and Interests
I love activities that get my adrenaline going. Whether it’s snowboarding, skydiving, roller-coaster rides, or a good horror film, I’ll sign up for whatever makes me feel alive! (‘whatever’ here excludes criminal activity and anything involving real blood or olives, because gross.)
But because not every day can be an adventure, and as a girl who spends half the week doing math, I regularly participate in a few less-than-exciting hobbies:
- Reading- whether it’s a science blog or a classic novel, Carl Sagan or Tolstoy, I love to be enthralled by a good read.
- Cooking- I love experimenting with new cuisines or playing Top Chef by creating an impromptu dinner with items I have on hand. ‘Dinner’ here is a little misleading of a term since not all results have been edible.
- Wine tasting, naturally followed by wine drinking
- Music, road trips, museums, all the other run-of-the mill stuff that everyone likes.
- I also like creating art ( or at least I call it art), which is mostly manifested as doodles in my class notes. The picture below is a piece I created with a friend, using crayons and markers.
