Associate Strategist

  1. Sidecar is dedicated to solving the challenges retailers face in performance marketing channels like paid search and shopping. Sidecar is helping fuel the next generation of e-retail with technology that supercharges e-commerce marketing.
  2. As an Associate SEM Strategist on our Channel Solutions team, you will:
    • Campaign structure creation and build, including keyword research from keyword mining to vetting to ensure relevance to site product offering
    • Developing tailored ad copy and assigning landing pages to drive engagement
    • Creating ad extensions (sitelinks, structure snippets, callout extensions, etc.)
    • Manage and optimize campaigns based on data and direction from Strategists and CSMs, including identifying opportunities and assisting in addressing client requests
    • Perform ad hoc analyses for insights to further improve upon goals
    • Complete reports of key metrics for internal review and/or for client discussion, such as executing, monitoring, and providing performance updates for A/B tests
    • Surface product and user experience feedback to internal teams as it relates to Sidecar’s technology and tools
  3. This job relates to MIS since I will be working with a lot of data for campaigns and drawing actionable insights from the data. I will also be using excel to filter and analyze data. I will be using technical skills I learned as an MIS major in this role.
