Volunteered at the Special Olympics in Delaware
I was responsible for helping individuals with intellectual disabilities through various soccer drills. It was a truly amazing experience for me and it really puts my life in perspective and I now see how lucky I am. It was really uplifting, helping and giving back to people in need.
Participant in Lights in the Parkway
I participated in a spectacular 5K Run and Walk in a unique way to view a holiday tradition! I was able to enjoy hundreds of thousands of lights by foot! The course starts and ends at the top of the hill. It was more hilly than your typical Parkway run, but I let the beauty of the lights take my mind off the hills. At the end of the run/walk, each participant was able to see what place they came in and receives a long sleeved t-shirt, beverages, snacks and goodies. It was a truly amazing experience!
