Job Experience & The Future

Executive Team Leader Assets Protection, Target

This past summer, I worked at the largest Target store in New Jersey. I was placed in the Mount Laurel Target as an Executive Team Leader in Assets Protection. My work center focused on preventing theft and fraud, ensuring the safety of my employees as well as our guests, and maintaining merchandise protection on high theft and dollar products. I also kept my store safe and secure against loss from theft and fraud and initiated investigations both internal and external by using Target’s Video Solution software.

During the beginning of my internship, I worked alongside seven executives to learn about store departments and daily operations which helped me on days I was acting manager. During my Leader On Duty (acting manager) shifts, I directed and managed fifty plus team members, responded to guest and team concerns, and made business decisions which impacted my team to achieve daily goals. Did I also mention that the Target where I interned makes over $1,000,000 a week? On my Leader On Duty shifts, not only did I manage fifty employees, but managed a store that does approximately $150,000  day!

Business Assistant, Kenny’s Automotive.

During the winter break of 2013, I worked with my dad in his automotive industry. I created a spreadsheet of his daily accounts receivables to help him manage his inventory.

Customer Service Representative, Wawa.

In the summer of 2013, I worked at Wawa as a Customer Service Representative, which I was responsible for constantly communicating with the management team regarding customer requests and vendor-related concerns and led by example by acting safely at all times. I constantly received positive feedback from customers and created repeat business by developing long-term relationships with them.

Assistant Athletic Director, Southampton Summer Day Camp.

I was in charge of organizing sports teams by rating players, ages 6-12, according to their skill level and trained and coached players on various drills to optimize performance. I provided training direction, encouragement, and motivation to prepare athletes for games and recorded daily statistics for 20 games. I also communicated with parents on their child’s skill level and techniques that needed improvement.

My Future

Post Graduation: After graduation, I will be working at Grant Thornton LLP in Philadelphia as a Business Advisory Services Associate.
