Future Goals
If someone has said that the world is any less connected than it was previously, then ignore that statement.
Due to current and emerging technologies, contact with people in foreign countries has only become easier. As a result of progressing electronic interaction, person-to-person interaction is becoming increasingly desired as well. As individuals stepping into or already within the business world, it is important that we take advantage of these international opportunities with much urgency. This includes learning different languages and cultural customs.
The opportunity to do these things is why I chose to be an International Business major. I realize how important business globalization is and would therefore like to be a part of its continuous growth.
