- NBCUniversal sponsors the Temple analytics challenge
- The analytics challenge happened on November 14th on the 7th floor of Alter Hall. We presented our proposition to the challenge, \\\”How can traditional media companies align with Esports?\\\”, and we won $500 as a prize for 4th place.
- I learned how to work as a team to create and present a cohesive solution to a panel of judges. I also learned how to analyze a business case to industry professionals along with other competitors in the same room. We used creative ways to support our ideas with data analysis based on precedent business situations.
- One function of MIS is to analyzing and interpreting data. Other key concepts that our team encountered were data analytics and data visualization.
