Yes, I am one of those generic philly sports fans, but I can proudly say that I am. I ride or die with Carson Wentz no matter what, and I’ll keep trusting the process until a Championship is brought back to Philadelphia. “Should we have kept Nick Foles? No… just no.” “Did we overpay for Bryce Harper? I cannot say for sure. I’ll give him another year since he did pick it up towards the end of the 2019 season.” What happened to Gostisbehere? I have no idea.” “Does Ben Simmons need to shoot 3s? Kinda… I just want him to attempt consistent mid range jumpshots and more importantly, to make his free throws!!! What are you doing in the off-season?!”
It can be frustrating being a philly sports fan, but it’s something I cannot separate myself from. I more partial to football and basketball, but I show love to all philly sports teams.
As an high school athlete, I learned many valuable lessons in terms of teamwork and pushing beyond your limits. Those very lessons are implemented into my work and lifestyle today. I was a wrestler and javelin thrower.
Cinema/Movies
In my humble opinion, movies are the most exciting and complicated art forms there are. Each movie is driven by a purpose to help viewers experience a mix of emotions which are sometimes hard to express in everyday life. Then, the directors, actors, writers, cinematographers, musicians, sound effect artists, and other contributors use that purpose to tell a great story. To be fair, there are many bad movies out there, but there are also many movies that have the story you are looking for.
Before you ask, I do not have a favorite movie. It is so hard to label any movie as a favorite, but I do have a favorite genre. That genre would be psychological thrillers, the movies that make you think and stir-up your curiosity. For recommendations, I suggest Gone Girl, Seven, Taxi Driver, and Get Out if you have not seen them.
I have seen a wide variety of movies that range from Robert De Niro’s role from Raging Bull and Kevin Hart’s part in Jumanji 2. If I ever make a list, I will post it here in the near future.
