MIS 2901 – Honors Information Systems in Organizations
This course introduces the superficial understanding of management information systems (MIS) applications in a company. This includes customer relationship management, supply chain management, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and other enterprise systems.
MIS 2502 – Data Analytics
I learned how to analyze, organize and present data using multiple programming languages and tools such as SQL, Tableau, and R.
MIS 2402 – Data-Centric Application Development
I developed web-based applications using coding languages such as Javascript, JQuery, and CSS together. Using these languages and Visual Studio Code, I identified errors and improved the web-based applications.
MIS 3406 – Enterprise IT Architecture
I set up a cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services for application deployment. Then, I will create an API using JavaScript and deploy to the cloud infrastructure.
MIS 3506 Digital Solutions Studio
I learned the concept of user/customer experience (UX). I will learn to create innovative digital solutions to cater to the client’s problems.
MIS 3502 Web Service Programming
I learned how to create end-to-end web applications and build complex RESTful APIs. In addition, I further developed my coding skills with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, client and server applications.
MIS 3535 Web Service Programming
I explored the human element of information systems. I learned how to lead, plan and manage information system projects with different project management concepts such as SCRUM and Agile methodology.
MIS 4596 Managing Enterprise Cybersecurity
I learned how to secure systems and enterprises using cryptography, authentication, and ethical hacking. I also learned how to assess the potential threats and risks for a business.
