Experience & After Graduation
EXPERIENCE
Every job I’ve had has been in customer service, working with people and providing all that I can to give them the best experience possible.
My first job was at a childrens theme park, Sesame Place, located in Langhorne PA. I worked there for two seasons (2008-2009) at Captain Ernies, one of the restaurants within the park. At this job, I set up for the days work, managed my station and the stations of others as well as keeping areas cleaned and organized throughout the day. I prepared food, served and handled money as well.
My second job was at Brother’s Catering at Heritage Hall in Newportville, PA (2009-2010). I started as a coat check and eventually moved my way up to being a server. As a coat check I would be the initial greeter, hanging coats and being readily available to call tables, attend to any guests needs, and help where I was needed out on the floor. As a server, I also greeted guests, set up for events, served, cleared food and cleaned up after the event. After being a server, I took a position under the same company at an office building cafateria; taking orders, handling money, setting up and cleaning and assisting customers.
The next place I sought work in late 2010 was Fairless Hills Produce, (located in Fairless Hills, PA) where I still work to this day. I very much love what I do, what we stand for and our customers. FH Produce is an affordable, fresh place to buy produce of all kinds. We are not apart of a huge corporation which is why we can keep our prices reasonable. We have a huge local following, as well some people that live far but keep coming back! Here I am a a cashier, a stocker, working in customer service every day. I provide customers with helpful tips, information, speedy and accurate service and overall, a good attitude.
I have also picked up a second job, which is seasonal, at the Fairless Hills Gaden Center (also located in Fairless Hills, PA) and started there last season of March 2013, wherer I have carriedmy customer service and other job related skills to this position.
AFTER GRADUATION
After graduation, I see myself working for a company that really values their employees as well as the HR Department. I would enjoy working for a laid back company that supports the ideas, opinions and differences of every employee and can harnest those ideas, opinions and differences into positive aspects to help the company grow and flourish. I also feel as if HR gets a bad reputation and I would like to make sure that whatever company I work for, I do my absolute best to show everyone that HR people are here to help both the employers and employees.
