Academics

As an actuarial science student, some of the important classes that I’ve taken or am taking currently in the Fox School of Business at Temple University include:

–       Theory of Interest

–       Actuarial Probability and Statistics

–       Corporate Finance for Actuarial Science

–       Actuarial Modeling I & II

–       Introduction to Risk Management

–       Intermediate Statistics

These classes have provided me with a great background in the fields of risk and insurance that I will one day be a part of.

While at Temple University, I have also received the following awards and recognitions:

–       Temple University Academic Scholarship

–       Temple University Honors Program

–       Business Honors Student Association Member

–       Dean’s List Fall 2011, Fall 2012, Spring 2012, Fall 2013

As a future actuary, one of my requirements will be to pass exams offered by the Society of Actuaries. I have passed two of the exams so far, including:

–       Exam P (Probability and Statistics)

–       Exam FM (Financial Mathematics)
