Wegmans

My first professional experience began when i was 15 and i applied for a Cashier position at Wegmans, which has ranked in the top 5 of Fortune’s Top 100 companies to work for, for the last 14 years. Although i began in an entry level position as a cashier, the position helped me develop my customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to various personalities and needs based upon the individual. While at Wegmans i accomplished several achievements including winning contests for the best attendance, highest Items Per Minute, and Highest Customer  Comments. After returning from my freshmen year in college, I obtained my first management position with the company as a Front End Coordinator, whereas i was given the ability to take the knowledge obtained as a customer service employee and use it for continuous improvement. Because Wegmans highly values Exceptional Customer Service, it has been my duty to ensure that each customer leave a happy customer.
