Risk and Financial Advisory Intern
This summer I had the opportunity to to intern as Risk and Financial Advisory Intern at Deloitte. During my internship, I collaborated with engagement teams to identify key IT risks and risks of material misstatements (ROMMs) in client IT environments, tested access security and change management controls in client IT environments to ensure compliance with regulatory attestation requirements, and organized team events to promote learning, inclusion, and sustainability.
I learned how essential IT control testing is to business as it ensures compliance with regulatory attestation requirements, indicates the health of IT environments, and works to help mitigate financial risk and stress.
