Bagpipes:
For the final three years of my high school career, I rigorously learned to play the bagpipes under the direction of the former Nassau Police Department Pipe Major, Frank Riggio. I have played in countless local parades on Long Island and two NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parades the St. Anthony’s Friar Celtic Pipe Band. I held the rank of Pipe Sergeant for my junior and senior year. I experienced a whole new culture that I would have never been immersed in if I did not play the bagpipes.
