Operations and Data Innovation Intern
During the summer of 2026, I served as an Operations & Data Innovation Intern with Skilladelphia Basketball Academy, an organization dedicated to empowering girls and women student-athletes through skill development, character building, and the use of technology. In this role, I worked on projects focused on improving the organization’s data management and operations, including developing an enrollment system, data management and reporting manual, creating an enrollment and financial reporting dashboard, and helping develop a digital player profile and training tool that allows athletes to track their training metrics and physical milestones. I also evaluated technology-based training tools and supported their implementation into the classroom to make basketball skill development more interactive and measurable. Through this experience, I strengthened my skills in data management, reporting, technology implementation, and problem-solving while gaining hands-on experience applying my academic knowledge to real-world organizational needs. The internship also taught me how technology and data can be used to support organizational growth and help athletes better understand and track their development.
