Helping Hand for Relief and Development: Events Coordinator
Helping Hand for Relief and Development is a non-profit, four star charity navigator humanitarian organization that provides relief to third world countries and disaster stricken areas in the world. I help organize semiannual fundraising events for the organization in the greater Philadelphia region where we raise about $80,000 for relief efforts at each event. My role is to assess the logistics in terms of selecting a proper venue, finding volunteers, printing, and so forth. In addition, I assist in administrative tasks for the regional leadership of the organization, fielding phone calls, data entry, creating spreadsheets and presentations.
