Computer Lab Consultant
Temple University is a large public research university located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I work within the Computer and Information Sciences Department as a Computer Lab Consultant. In this role, I provide technical assistance and support to faculty and students in computer laboratories, assist users with software and hardware-related questions, troubleshoot technical issues, and help maintain an effective and productive lab environment. I regularly assist students and faculty who encounter difficulties while using departmental computing resources, which has strengthened my technical troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. This experience relates to my Management Information Systems major by giving me practical experience supporting users and technology in an organizational environment and applying technical and interpersonal skills that are important in information systems roles.
