“Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners” is a LinkedIn Learning course introducing the technical skills of creating a dashboard using Power BI. Narrated by Joshua Rischin, the course explains that a dashboard’s three building blocks are goals, visualizations, and data. I actively followed along with the exercise, creating an interactive dashboard for the Red 30 Sales Report data provided. I added an average line to allow viewers to see how a certain day’s sales results compare with a normal day. The lessons provided were helpful in understanding how to use Power BI to create data visualizations.
