My Academics: Past, Present and Future
Neshaminy High School, Langhorne PA
Neshaminy is a public school located in Bucks County PA. My class consisted of over 400 students, which I was able to graduate among the top 5% with a 4.23 GPA (Honors classes grant above 4.0). I studied accounting for three years at Neshaminy, which more than adequately prepared me for my college major. Also, I was afforded the opportunity to take AP Psychology where I received a four out of five on my final exam, which allowed me to be exempt from the course in college. I was a member of the National Honor Society at my High School, where I participated in running two blood drives for the American Red Cross.

Temple University, Philadelphia PA
Once I graduated High School in 2010, I decided to advance my academic future at Temple. I am an accounting and risk management and insurance major. Temple’s accounting program is one of the best around, which I have seen first hand through my classes. “Graduates from our Accounting Program often work at a “Big Four” public accounting firm, or a national, regional or local firm in the surrounding areas.” (Temple University Accounting web site). And the RMI department at Temple has an award winning organization (Gamma Iota Sigma) which has been recognized as the best chapter in the U.S. 18 of the past 22 years. The RMI department at Temple has been a significant factor in my success and my ability to earn an internship opportunity with Towers Watson.
