Biography
My name is Yannick Rugamba, and my journey has taken me across continents and through diverse experiences. I was born and raised in Rwanda, where I learned the value of resilience, adaptability, and hard work. I moved to Poland to continue my studies, and during my time there, I embraced new cultures and environments, which helped me grow both personally and professionally. This blend of academic and life experiences has shaped me into someone who values bridging cultural differences and adapting to new challenges.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in IT Auditing & Cybersecurity at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. With a strong academic foundation, I have completed coursework in Ethical Hacking, Intrusion Detection, and Network Security. Professionally, my roles at Kyndryl and IBM allowed me to manage VMware environments, strengthen server security, and lead disaster recovery efforts. These roles reinforced the importance of teamwork, attention to detail, and continuous learning.
As I continue my journey in cybersecurity, particularly in offensive security, I aim to apply both my technical expertise and the lessons I’ve learned from navigating diverse environments and challenges.
