During my time at a General Helper at Weber Display & Packaging, a leading manufacturer of corrugated shipping containers and points of service displays (those that you see at Costco, Acme, or your everyday supermarket) with over 240 full-time employees, I was responsible for several tasks that supported the company’s production and shipping operations. Weber Display & Packaging is located at 3500 Richmond St, Philadelphia, PA 19134.<\/p>\n
My primary responsibilities included utilizing Kiwi Planner, a industry-leading packing ERP and MES solution, to track and document data related to damaged, incomplete, missing, and completed corrugated shipping containers. In addition to data management, I printed essential documentations and calculated final shipping amounts, ensuring accuracy and a timely delivery of all orders.<\/p>\n
I have managed to tracked over hundreds of orders of shipping containers, minimizing errors and increasing accuracy of inventory records.<\/p>\n
This role has significantly improved my understanding of how software systems integrates with hardware to optimize manufacturing processes. I gained hands-on experience with inventory management, data analysis, and machinery operations, which can be applicable in MIS.
