ITA in BA 2501: Visualizing Data
I served as an Information Technology Assistant (ITA) for course: Turning Numbers into Knowledge: Visualizing Data (BA 2501) during the Fall 2025 semester. In this role, I supported students in developing analytical skills with Tableau. During the first half of the semester, I attended class sessions alongside Professor Kerner, assisting students directly in lectures and hosting weekly office hours to provide additional guidance. In the second half of the semester, my responsibilities shifted toward evaluating assignments based on the course’s grading rubric while continuing to hold office hours for student support. Through this experience, I strengthened my ability to explain technical concepts clearly, gained insight into effective classroom facilitation, and developed practical experience in assessment. This role also deepened my connection to my major in Management Information Systems, as it allowed me to integrate data visualization and analytical thinking into both teaching and professional development.
