- Listening to Jumoke Dada’s inspiring journey, I learned about the many different routes one can take within technology. She shared her story with the audience in hopes to show us the unexpected, but successful turns we can take in our career. Dada wore many hats throughout her professional career, taking on many positions from cyber security, computer science, and now entrepreneur. I also was able to participate in discussions with my peers and other professionals, providing guidance based on being women in STEM.
- This activity relates to my coursework, because as a senior MIS major my professional career will soon be taking off. It was extremely rewarding sharing a space with like minded women to receive advice and inspiration. It also provided some insight on the path I may take in technology.
