Chilltech Solution provides cold room installation, as well as service and maintenance. They have served as a private and reliable contractor for various facilities companies and private companies for well over 20 years for stores in Malaysia. They provide consultation, and installation of refrigeration system for industrial and commercial use.
In my role, I worked as a general office clerk as I perform a variety of clerical task like answering telephones, typing documents and filling records. I organize maintenance schedules, reviewing and writing documents, answering questions and scheduling repairing and maintenance schedules for the clients. The main highlight of my job was being able to visit the different sites while cold room installation was in progress. I have never been in a cold room before and being able to see these sites was a eye-opener for me. I get to see how refrigerated warehouses, chill water system, processing room, clean rooms, chiller and cold rooms are designed and build to carter the specific needs of the clients. I was given the opportunity to visit these sites as a personal assistant to the CEO of the company and learnt how to engage with different clients in business and leisure discussions.
This experience allowed me to gain insight on how simple clerical tasks have a significant and important role to the company. I was also able to engage in conversation with business owners and learn about their stories and experiences in their respective industry. I have also develop a better understanding in managing and organizing files of company records, invoices, quotations and service and maintenance records.
