Fox IT Awards Post
Temple’s Annual Fox IT Awards recognizes MIS students, faculty and industry professionals for their academic performance and leadership. MIS students, alumni, faculty, IBIT Members and more are always in attendance at the ceremony. Attending the IT Awards allows industry professionals to connect with students on a more personal level. Students are able to build their networks when talking to industry professionals whose job position is what they will be doing after graduation or plan on doing in the future. Some time these industry professionals are alumni, which makes communicating with them easier. I have learned a lot about moving forward with my career and how to get to my specific job interest by conversing with those at the awards. The success of those that attend the awards inspires me because one day I know I will be able to reach that level of success and achievement. I look forward to attending the IT Awards in the future to tell about my achievements.
