Part-Time Internship
At my internship at Food Export, I was in their Philadelphia office, but worked closely with their Chicago office as well as clients internationally. I attended weekly national group meetings, as well as smaller department meetings. I was officially in the International Marketing Program department, and I assisted this department with a lot of their technology needs.
At Food Export Northeast, I was responsible for assisting a team with upgrading to a new database system. My frequent tasks included updating database entries and evaluating them to ensure they would migrate to the new system correctly. I also created new entries and completed evaluations of the database prior to the new system being installed. Once the new system was running, I assisted with testing the system and reporting issues. I was also responsible for editing the company’s web page with updates and to ensure accuracy, as needed.
