PwC Internship
This past summer I completed an eight week internship at PwC’s Philadelphia office. There, I was an Enterprise Systems Solution intern in the Risk Assurance line of service. PwC’s Risk Assurance professionals are responsible for identifying and mitigating clients’ risks across many different areas of business. My specific group with in Risk Assurance, Enterprise Systems Solutions, focused on managing risks through the use of enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, and others.
During my internship, I worked on multiple different clients using multiple different technology solutions. My first assignment was to work with an Oracle client to implement RevPro. This project was urgent as it was initiated in order to comply with a new federally-mandated accounting standard. I also worked on several clients using SAP. I spent lots of time exploring different software platforms, and gained a lot of insight.
I enjoyed gaining exposure to numerous solutions, and how different companies use them to accomplish different things. I had an amazing experience over the summer, and I am excited to return to PwC’s Philadelphia office in the Fall. I will be an associate in the newly joint team called Digital Risk Solutions, which is comprised of associates from Enterprise Systems Solutions and Advanced Risk & Compliance Analytics.
