A few years ago, when I was struggling with the SAT, I noticed a noticeable pattern on this notorious test. Then I experimented with different strategies, broke down the questions into types and tried to generalize the rules for this test. The SAT test no longer was no longer something I couldn’t wait to get over, it became a game which I found super fun to decode.
With a lot of experience with the SAT and a passion to alleviate students’ frustration with the SAT, my friend and I teamed up together to tutor students who wish to get high score on the SAT/ACT one and a half year ago. We tried to make an engaging and effective test prep curriculum for students, and fast forward to now, our team has grown to seven interns and three main tutors, having helped over 50 students.

As the demand for innovative education is increasing, our next vision is to create an automated tutoring system with a lot of interactive learning tools that engage students and make learning SAT/ACT or any other standardized tests effortless.
With insights I gained from working on my startup, I believe that applying technology in education has been and will be the next big trend in the industry.
