    what is the translation of GB in Vmware? ( trying to figure out how to add 5 1gb drives to the VM machine).

    Hi, I am not sure I understand your question.

    Hint: You can create the hard drives in the VMware portal and then format them within the OS itself.

    If you could please provide a bit more information about where you are stuck I would be happy to elaborate further!

      Oh Alex,

      You were probably in the Advance settings of the hard drive instead directly adding the drives individually. I know I made that mistake first and tried to put it in SCSI Drive via raito 1:5 and noticed this was not the way to go once I started my VMWare back you due to the lack of 5 drive present. I went back and discovered the add button at the end of edit settings on VMWare and remember to have your VMware shut down before you process. I hope that helps 🙂

    Guys, I an get my Vm to connect to the internet. I receive the following error message ” unable to open the search page”, and when i click on ” fix the problem” I received this message : “Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding”. Help please.

      Hi Alex,

      Be sure you configured your DNS setting properly. Remember, we had to set the primary DNS server to the ip address of our –DC1 server. Ensure that the –DC1 server is running since your server will go to DC1 for its DNS config and will not work if the server is shutdown.

      I would revisit your DNS setup to ensure everything is configured properly.

    Did anyone get the below error message when trying to run the default.aspx project? I’m stucked. Help!
