Temple Spring Connection
Spring Connection is a networking event Temple puts on to allow employers and students to connect, and hopefully lead to career opportunities. This was very valuable to me because I had never gotten the chance to be face to face with recruiters, and really find out what they were looking for. I was able to talk to them about the positions and skills sets they were looking to hire. I was also able to not only give my resume to many potential employers, but also gain an idea of how I can become a more attractive hire and gain an advantage in the competitive world of job searching. I have been to other Temple networking events since and I always come away learning something new about how I can improve as a potential hire.
