Fox IT Awards
The Fox IT Awards was a great event for me to actually see what the people in my major were actually accomplishing. It really showed me the value of taking the extra step and participating in opportunities which with hard work will really get you places. We started out with a bit of socializing which broke some ice between me and my peers. With the comfort of the dinner that came right after we start the actual award ceremony. This is where I watched one by one all of these MIS majors being recognized for their outstanding work. Many high leveled employees were also recognized some of which for some very valuable research they have done. After this was done is where we were given the opportunity to socialize with many of our professors and all of these awarded guests. Building a foundation to the relationship with many of the people I have only ever seen inside the class actually lead to an ITA offer from one of my professors to which I am currently working.
