Clubs/Organizations
I am a part of Temple University’s chapter of Association for Information Systems (AIS). As an AIS member, I have gained valuable experiences by attending speaker series, professional development sessions, and challenging technical workshops. Being in AIS has allowed me to better understand the opportunities that are available to me as an MIS major, while also becoming more involved in the Temple MIS community through social and community service activities.
Since the fall of 2017, I also have been volunteering at an animal shelter in Philadelphia to help cats and dogs in need. I love animals because of how they spread happiness. My family has always had pets, and each one has taught me something new about companionship, acceptance, and positivity. As a volunteer, I try my best to reciprocate the love that animals give and work together with other volunteers to keep things running smoothly at the shelter.
