Education/Work Experience

Education

Central Bucks South

I attended C.B. South High School, graduating in June of 2015 with a scholars diploma. While attending C.B. South I was involved in multiple extracurricular activities, most notably I was the president of the Chemistry Society from 2013-2015.  I was enrolled in both honors and AP courses, and balanced school with my part-time job at Wegmans Food Markets.

Temple University, Fox Business School

I am currently a Junior pursuing a major in Management Information Systems (MIS) in the honors program at the Fox School of Business at Temple University. I am a member of both the Business Honors Student Association (BHSA) and Golden Key Honors Society, as well as the Association for Information Systems (AIS).

Work

Wegmans Food Markets

I  have worked at Wegmans Food Market in multiple positions over the past four years, where I have learned key communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. I have been a recipient of the Wegmans Scholarship from 2015 to the present.

Ernst & Young

I  am was a mentee with Ernst & Young (“EY”), I was paired with a Temple Alumni who was employed by EY. This opportunity allowed me to learn what skills translate to real-world work and gained insight on how to prepare for a future career.

During the Summer of 2018 I have been fortunate enough to intern at EY in the Risk Advisory Practice (RAP). The internship offered me incredible learning experiences and surrounded me with bright individuals who were more than willing to shed some of their knowledge onto me. I was given the opportunity to attend networking events with both fellow interns and Partners at the firm. The firm has a system set up to help guide you through your expierence with peer mentor, a staff employee who has been with the firm for a year or so and was just in your shoes. As well as a consoler system where you can talk to them for help, career guidance, etc. Most importantly though, I was able to gain vast insight on what a career in Risk Auditing is like, by going out to client sites, interviewing clients, collaborating with team members, and  working on documentation. The EY internship was no “go get us coffee” like internship, rather I was seen as a valued member of the team and I felt as though what I said mattered and as though my opinions and thoughts were seriously taken into account.
