Genesis HealthCare
From December 2011 through May 2015 I was a Recreation Assistant at the Quakertown Center facility. During this time I worked with residents needing skilled nursing assistance to providing transportation to or from scheduled recreation programming, and socialization. This allowed me to develop the ability to remain calm and consistent even when working with residents with mental diseases. Additionally, working in this challenging environment demonstrated to me the importance of teamwork, because if we failed to work together medical or legal consequences could ensue.
