Data Analytics & Reporting Lead (Intern)

February 2018  – May 2018, Philadelphia, PA

AtmosFi is a local content platform that helps businesses share their specials, events and promotions directly with their local community. Leveraging our primary 3 integrated channels (WiFi, Web, and E-mail) we are influencing foot-traffic within Philadelphia’s unique neighborhoods. After officially launching in November 2017, they’ve scaled to 50 local businesses, connected with 35,000+ local end users and helping businesses of all kinds including Cafes, Restaurants, Bars, Lounges, Salons, Barbers, Theaters and more.

As the Data Analytics & reporting lead, I: Reported weekly and monthly core metrics from thousands of visitors in hundreds of locations; provided insight on how to improve the platform dashboard and business; as well as measure business growth progress within the market. Being part of the AtmosFi team has provided one of my best (of two!) experiences with a growing start-up company. The things I have learned regarding real-time and real world data analysis in a ‘real’ company is priceless.

Market Research Analyst; Web Designer

September 2016 – Present, New York, NY

The Natural Gentleman

Current Internship by way of telecommuting (work from home). Startup company based in New York that delivers all natural and organic men’s grooming products. I used WordPress Content Management System (CMS) to help develop and design what their website currently is. I also evaluated back-end google analytics data for the company’s website, as well as retrieved survey information through google survey for consumers that received trial/test products. This is, and will continue to be, my prime exemplar of starting from the ground up, and making a great leap forward.

Customer Service Associate

June 2015 – May 2017, Quakertown, PA

Staples, Inc.

Retail work with tasks that included:

  • Front-End Customer Service associate; accurately and efficiently resolved any emerging problems that our customers may have faced
  • Sales floor associate; assisted customers with searching for products, as well as generated additional ‘market-basket’ sales with suggestions to items related to the customers’ needs.
  • Technology Services associate; provided various technology-related services, solutions and information to customers.

This job helped me learned the value of team cohesion and quick problem-solving skills.

Student Technology Services

December 2014 – June 2015, Pennsburg, PA

Upper Perkiomen School District

First taste of the real world while in high school. As part of a community service class while a student at Upper Perkiomen High School, I decided to kick-start my career by working with the Technology Services Coordinator of the school to:

  • Record and upkeep usage of over 600 desktops and laptops, 70 projectors and Smartboards, and 90 printers.
  • Correspond to staff with issues by way of a problem reporting cycle from a receipt of problem report, including documentation of repair or disposition.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on same devices. This would include periodic inspections, cleaning, filter replacement, etc.
  • Monitor spare and replacement parts and managed inventory accounting of all technological devices.
  • Pave the way for a ‘one-to-one’ initiative, giving each student a laptop for use, new classroom desktops, as well as mobile iPad carts. Integrating technology into educational services.

Our team laid the foundation for our local middle and high schools to incorporate learning and technology by allowing each student their own laptop. New digital design-oriented all-in-one Apple iMac’s were installed in two classrooms to expand technological creativity. Lastly, old laptop carts were replaced and revamped with newer HP laptops and Apple iPads.

On a side-note, I was offered a full-time position to become an assistant technology services coordinator for the school district, but declined to pursue my academics here at Fox.

You can find more information on this initiative at the school website
