PTW 2019 DirectLync Presentation and Workshop
At the PTW 2019 DirectLync Presentation and Workshop at the Bellevue in Philadelphia, I attended a seminar hosted by the corporation known as DirectLync. They are a digital marketing company specializing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), aiding companies around the Tri-State area in expanding target demographics as well as increasing current demographic access and marketing efficacy. They gave a presentation on why digital marketing is so important to modern business management, and then how DirectLync specifically tackles their portion of SEO market share. It is a common concept taught in many MIS classes, but hearing it from professionals in the industry was specifically eye-opening on the exact results they were able to coax out of current small businesses utilizing SEO techniques and programs. I learned that regardless of the size or field, modern-day business requires a keen understanding of digital marketing in terms of SEO as well as social media in order to keep up with industry progression and to increase overall business growth.
