MIS2101 – Intro to Management Information Systems

As an MIS major, I am expecting to learn what MIS is, how it works, the basics of the specialization, and what I can expect in harder classes to come.

RMI 2101 – Intro to Risk Management

A necessary class in the business degree, I have learned and will keep learning the basics of risk and how it applies to business and insurance. There is math involved, but nothing beyond basic statistics. No calculus (yet?)!

SPAN2001 – Conversational Spanish

After this course is over, I should be able to hold a conversation in Spanish with a native speaker and communicate my intentions as well as understand theirs. This is an important class on the path to fluency, and completion of my minor.

Sociology 1176 – Introduction to Sociology

As my mother was a sociology major, I was interested in this class to learn more about her – it teaches the basics of sociology as a science and a broad overview of the major topics therein.
