I assisted with the screening process at a local Army base for possible covid-19 cases, and the soldiers and employees that worked at the base. I compiled a screening report everyday to see the overall trend of temperatures from all the soldiers to see if there was anyone that had a rising temperature, and if he or she had contact with someone who tested positive for covid-19.
I learned that data changes a lot everyday. Data helps us build models, and with even the smallest change to the data, it can influence your original model/projection. I learned that a good model has to be flexible with changes to the data. This relates to MIS, because MIS is all about information and organizing that information to make something useful. In this case, I organized data of numerous soldiers to see if their body temperature was changing through out the day and weeks.
