General BSA Event
Before transferring to Temple University, I attending La Salle University. At first my major was business administration which was real broad. My adviser at the time was head of the Business Systems Analytics department which is similar to MIS. My adviser invited to come out to a general BSA event to talk about the major itself. I attended the event and was instantly fascinated. At the event they described how technology is always changing and how it can be used to benefit companies. With newer technology you will be able to use software programs to analyze data and then interpret it to make decisions for the better of the company. Growing up I was always fascinated by technology and after attending this event, I made the decision to change my major.
