From November 2010 to January 2013, I served as a Team Leader in charge of 6 Soldiers. We were all members of a distinguished 6-man casket team and together, we executed over 200 burials in Arlington National Cemetery. I effectively helped trained these soldiers to perform their duties proficiently. Nothing but perfection was the standard, and we maintained our standing as professionals and experts as Honor Guardsmen in honoring our fallen comrades.

My hard work and leadership skills again led me to a highly selective and prestigious position as a Non-Commissioned Officer in charge of a group of 20 joint-military service members at The Pentagon in January of 2013. I managed and led this outstanding group of Soldiers, Seamen, Marines, and Airmen to be Official Guides and Public Liaisons for distinguished guests of the Secretary of Defense as well as public guests visiting The Pentagon. I coordinated, scheduled, and oversaw the successful escorting of over 1,000 private guests of The Pentagon (ranging from foreign dignitaries, Medal of Honor recipients, celebrities, and distinguished guests and family members of the Secretary of Defense) for military briefings, official business, or personal tours. In January of 2014, I was awarded the Joint-Service Commendation Medal for my leadership and service to the outstanding group of joint-service members on the team. In July of 2014, I ended my active duty obligation to the Army.
