Skills to Build Stronger Work Relationships
In this LinkedIn Learning module, I learned more about best practices for working in a team and building positive relationships with co-workers. This module primarily stressed the importance of healthy communication, which entails requesting and being open to feedback, framing conflict as two individuals working against a problem, and taking responsibility for your role in a team and any successes or failures that can come from that. This is incredibly helpful information and closely mirrors the way resident assistants are trained to interact in the workplace and with residents. Having this module to refresh and expand on these skills that are central to my job will help me excel in my role and develop the skills to healthily navigate any workplace I may find myself in in the future.
