How to Regain Control of Your Time, Energy, and Priorities

This LinkedIn Learning module helped me better understand how I can make more out of my day and use my time to work toward my goals. This module emphasized the importance of understanding yourself and how you work best. To be more productive, I should keep track of what times of the day I feel most energized and focus my most important work on those times, avoiding distractions during that time as well. It is also important to work towards increased productivity incrementally. Setting aside an hour a day then gradually increasing that time makes it easier to buckle down and break the habit of procrastination. This is something I have struggled with during the busier parts of the school year, so I am happy to have this information to make finals season more productive and strengthen my work ethic going forward in my academic and professional career.
