Mistakes to Avoid When Managing Your Time

This LinkedIn Learning helped me learn to better manage my time and gave me strategies for increasing productivity. Part of this strategy is getting to know how you work best and building your schedule around that. If you are an early bird and get more work done in the morning, create openings in your schedule to get work done in the morning. While doing this, also limit the pressure on yourself. Try to plan out tasks so that you have three things to get done in a day, plan out time for breaks, and allow yourself to turn down additional workloads if you are having trouble managing what is already on your plate. This is incredibly beneficial to me already as a college student constantly trying to stay ahead of the next deadline, and this information will continue to be beneficial as my responsibilities change, but remain just as demanding in the workforce.
