Train Your Brain to Unwind Stress and Anxiety Habits

This LinkedIn Learning module taught me a little bit about how anxiety works psychologically and some strategies to combat it. The module discusses anxiety triggers and how anxiety loops are caused by the desire to have control over a situation you do not have control over. These loops can be addressed with metacognition, trying to understand why you think a certain way and being able to recognize when you are experiencing anxiety and what caused it. When anxiety occurs, it is important to decide a more beneficial mindset to replace it with. This module was beneficial to me because these are thought patterns I frequently experience when navigating the many responsibilities I have as a student, employee, and person. It is important that I develop these healthy mental habits now so I can successfully navigate the mental pressure that I can only expect to increase as I enter the professional sphere.
