Activities:
Association of Information Systems – Active Member
Fall 2018 – Present
As an active member of AIS, I have been involved in many different professional development events hosted at Temple or as an Organization, traveled off campus to attend. One of the events are the Professional Development Workshops that are hosted on a regular basis on campus. Through a variety of professionals and alumni that come and speak, this has given me great insight on what it takes to be successful post graduation and how to grow and build my career. Another event I attended was an external office visit to O3 World (UX Design Company) with AIS. After attending this visit, it opened my eyes to how many different types of specialties of information system work and career opportunities that are classified under the MIS degree. Another event was the Fox IT Career fair, this was a great opportunity for me to speak with industry professionals and to talk about what I have learned so far that can be applied to future career opportunities.
