IT Service Management Intern
- This summer I worked at the WSFS Bank Operations Center in Wilmington Delaware in the Service Management department.
- During the summer I mainly did a lot of asset management work as well as change management. I used tools like Excel, Sharepoint, Visio, and many service management and asset tracking tools.
- A couple of projects I was assigned to do include but are not limited to: Creating infographics for the banks knowledge base, Finding missing assets using a variety of the banks asset tracking tools, Combine several building access legacy systems into a newer system, and I kept track of the progress of the bank wide PC Refresh using Sharepoint and Excel.
- During my internship I learned of the importance of clean data and how dirty data can affect many departments. I expanded my knowledge of excel by using many functions and creating macros. I learned about the service management life cycle and the very basics of the ITIL framework that is used for service management.
