Interests & Hobbies
Sports
I would say without a doubt, my biggest interest or hobby is sports, especially football and basketball. Sports have always been a huge part of my life since I could first pick up a ball and I continue to play them today. At the high school level I played football, basketball and tennis and I continued to play those competitively in college through intramural leagues or just pick-up games around campus.
Being a huge sports guy, the team I follow the closest and am probably most dedicated to would definitely have to be the Boston Celtics. Aside from the Celtics, I am also a huge supporter of my own Temple Owls, where I was always a Wild Cherry member while attending Temple. Though I have graduated and moved on from college, I will definitely continue to be a huge supporter of my school’s athletic teams.
Though I really miss watching these guys play together, I’m still a huge fan of the C’s.
Technology
A major reason why I chose to become an MIS major is because I love technology and I would consider myself a tech-savvy person. Ever since I have been able to use a computer, I’ve been that person in his group of friends and especially family, who get’s asked “How does this work?” or “How do you change that?” or “What should I do if this message just popped up on the screen?” I’m that kid in his family that to this day still receives calls from his mother who is at home, sitting at the computer asking “What does this mean?” or “Can you tell me how to do this?”
Personally, I am into all kinds of technology and open to using various kinds, however, it is safe to say that I have a soft spot for the technology products designed by Apple. I am definitely what you would call an “Apple Geek” because I know the ins and outs of every device that is Apple oriented almost as if I worked for the company. My Macbook Pro, iPhone 5 and iPods and Apple TV are my right hand tools and I don’t know what I would do without them.
