Work Experience

Technology Consulting Intern – CRM – Microsoft Dynamics 365

In the Summer of 2019, I worked as a technology consulting intern for RSM in Philadelphia with the D365 CRM team at RSM. I identified client needs through functional discussions with private and public sector clients during onsite visits and translated functional requirements into technical requirements within Dynamics. I created custom entities, designed forms, views, workflows, and business processes, and customized security and user roles in Dynamics to build a CRM environment for internal RSM employees to record professional networking event participation through mobile devices. I wrote Microsoft Excel VBA Macros to clean and transform prospective client data sets. I imported essential data and configured D365 CE templates for CRM system upgrade projects. I researched and completed training activities on several technologies within the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow.

NBCUniversal Media Tech Intern

In the summer of 2018, I worked as a technology intern at the Technology Center in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, on the Open Platform Services team, which is tasked with hosting NBCU’s global PaaS applications. I was part of several ongoing projects for the duration of the internship. I surveyed 36 application teams that were using PaaS technology to assess if cloud-native best practices were being followed. I collected responses and presented my findings. I wrote a 25-page position paper on serverless computing and potential applications for the technology within the organization and worked with AWS Lambda to write serverless functions. I analyzed and worked with containerization technologies Docker and Kubernetes to assist planning and implementation of CaaS platforms. I interviewed project stakeholders, gathered requirements, and diagrammed CaaS onboarding process and user requirements. Throughout the internship, I developed an immersive digital advertising experience prototype with fellow interns and placed 2nd in the intern competition judged by NBCUniversal executives.

Beacon Pointe Wealth Advisors Summer Intern

In the summer of 2017, I was hired as a Summer Intern for Beacon Pointe Wealth Advisors. I spent three months working in, studying, and learning as much as I could about RIAs and the private wealth management business. I worked with the CRM software Tamarac to transfer, input, and manage essential client data and email histories. I had the opportunity to observe and take notes on several economic seminars for associates. Additionally, I used Morningstar data and Microsoft Excel to craft functional spreadsheets to calculate estimated client fees and portfolio yields, as well as customizable client marketing materials such as investment proposals and infographics.

Fox MIS Student Worker & Information Technology Assistant

fox mis

Beginning in the fall of 2016, I was hired as a Student Activity Worker for the MIS Department at the Fox School of Business. I graded the in-class activities for the introductory MIS course and organized gradebooks and data sheets for the MIS Department. Since then, I have held a variety of positions within the MIS Department. I have researched and evaluated learning tools for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to help administrators improve course curricula and assignments to promote interactive learning experiences. I am currently serving as an ITA for MIS 3502, the advanced coding course for the MIS major, to help students learn concepts of application development and expand on coding skills.

National Greyhound Adoption Program

ngap

My paternal grandfather started the National Greyhound Adoption Program in 1989 to find homes for former racing dogs.  The organization also raises funds to care for sick dogs and spreads awareness about abuse of greyhound racing dogs. As I was growing up, every spring and summer, I have worked in the kennels, care for the dogs before they’re placed, clean kennels, feed dogs, walk dogs, register volunteers, and participate in fundraising activities.  My family has adopted 6 rescue dogs.
