Experience
For the past three summers I had the privilege to work at Briarwood Day Camp. It’s a camp for kids from the ages of 3-15 years old located in Furlong, PA. The camp goes on for a total of eight sun soaked weeks during the summer. I have been at this camp for eleven summers of my life, three as a counselor and eight as a camper. This past summer I was the senior counselor for a group of ten 8-year-old boys. I was responsible for planning and leading activities such as sports, arts & crafts, and swimming. Not only was this job extremely fun, but I also gained a lot of responsibility, being the person in charge and responsible of younger kids.
This upcoming summer I am lucky enough to have an internship at ACE Group. I will be working as part of the financial control group at the Financial Shared Services Center in Philadelphia. I am very excited to get my career path started and to make new connections and to learn new things everyday. I cannot wait to gain more experience in my field of insurance, and to gain some real hands on work experience. I am very excited to get my future started and to be able to intern at such a great organization.
