Experience
My first job was as a server at Cheesecake Factory. While this was just a way for a high school kid to make money, I made sure I gained the most from it that I possibly could. I feel the biggest thing I gained from my two and a half years as a waiter, was improving my ability to talk to people confidently. Talking to so many people that I had never met everyday allowed me to eventually, effortlessly talk to people with eye contact and a big smile on my face.
I then got an internship at a cybersecurity firm, ISMG Inc. Here, I started off editing videos for summits which would have around 5,000 people in attendance from different sectors of the industry. I then moved on to Salesforce, after about three months I received my system admistrator Salesforce certification. I continued to work with Salesforce until the internship ended.
