Information Systems Projects:

Last spring, I worked with a team to make a hyper-local crowdfunding app with a map-based interface to support school projects. I utilized my knowledge with MapBox and QGIS to design the app. We submitted the app to Temple’s Be Your Own Boss Bowl and won $10,000.

In the fall of 2015, I developed a web app to help evaluate remote commercial properties for viability based on census population and economic data, and to compare market viability against current market saturation. For this project, I was awarded the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust- International Council of Shopping Centers award.

Following these projects, I realized the need for cost effective, cloud based infrastructure. I migrated to Amazon Web Services, and went on to earn the AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certificate. I hope to utilize this skill in my next position
